Our new release Camellia sasanqua 'Classique' will be available for sale from a committed group of growers around Australia from Autumn 2000. Now is the time to book up stock and arrange catalogue insertion with our growers. Coachwood Nursery is organising a national marketing campaign and quality, exclusive slides can be sent to you for your marketing magazines, catalogues, etc. 'Classique' will be presented for sale in two sizes 125mm and 190mm. A quality point of sales, signs and brochures will also be availble with initial deliveries.

The Ground Cover Or Low Spreading Shrub Of Camellia sasanqua 'Classique'

'Classique' is available as a ground cover or low spreading shrub or as a grafted standard. 'Classique' is an exciting new prostrate Camellia which flowers abundantly from late summer to winter. Flowers are a delightful two tone pink with a prominent yellow centre. Attractive foliage has a bronze tinge on the new growth. Its many uses and features make it the perfect choice for todays gardener such as :

Camellia sasanqua 'Classique' As A Grafted Standard

The 'Classique' is an easy to look after plant. No pruning is needed, few pests and diseases make it an ideal choice. It grows up to 60cm in height and up to 1m in width. It likes sun or shade and all soil types when organic matter is added to the soil and ensure drainage is adequate. Mulch well, keep moist during hot dry weather, feed in Spring with a Camellia fertiliser, prune and shape only when required, and don't apply lime and the 'Classique' will turn out to be a classic in the garden.
