| Here at Coachwood Nursery we specialise in
the growing and marketing of new plants. We have
three new promising varieties of the 'Limelight'
for you to look forward to. These new 'Limelight'
varieties are called 'Highlight', 'Limeglow', and
'Limesheen'. These new varieties will not be
available for a couple of years however this page
will be updated with news of their release as
more information on this is known. Currently
there aren't many photos of these new varieties
as they are still being grown but later more
photos will be taken and added here. |

And Its New Varieties - A Comparison |
'Limelight'
Description: 'Limelight' is an
outstanding new hardy conifer bred in
Australia. It's soft, dense foliage is a
glowing Lemon'n'Lime making it a real
attraction in any garden.
Uses: The narrow conical shape and
rapid growth rate make 'Limelight' the
ultimate privacy plant, perfect for
screening and hedging.
Care: Fertilise with any complete
fertiliser in Spring and Autumn. Can be
pruned and shaped if desired. Mulching is
beneficial. Water regulary during dry
weather and mulch. For screening, plant 1.4m
apart.

'Hightlight'
Description: 'Hightlight' is a
compact, narrow variety with rich golden
foliage. It is a very hardy plant
tolerating extremes of temperature and
humidity. grows to an average height of 3.5m
by 1.2m wide in 10 years.
Uses: Perfect where space is
limited, while still providing privacy
and vertical accent. Ideal for smaller
gardens and courtyards or as a container
plant on balconies and patios.
Care: Fertilise with any complete
fertiliser in Spring and Autumn. Water
regulary during dry weather. Mulching is
beneficial. Can be pruned and shaped as
desired.

'Limeglow'
Description: 'Limeglow' has
beautiful soft lemon-lime foliage with a
very compact, tidy habit. Grows well in
sun or shade, where the foliage turns to
a fresh lime-green. Average height of 3m
by 1.5m wide in 10 years.
Uses: Excellent hedge or screen
plant from 1.5m to 3m. Ideal as a
specimen on its own or in a mixed garden.
Can be brought inside as a pot plant for
weeks at a time in good light. Mist
foliage periodically to aid longevity.
Care: Fertilise with any complete
fertiliser in Spring and Autumn. Water
regulary during dry weather. Mulching is
beneficial. Can be pruned and shaped as
desired.

'Limesheen'
Description: 'Limesheen' is a
superb compact plant with a drift of lime
throughout the golden foliage. It is
vigorous and extremely hardy, tolerating
extremes of temperature and humidity.
'Limesheen' grows to an average of 4m by
1.5m wide in 10 years.
Uses: Ideally suited for privacy
and screening along fence lines,
driveways and boundaries. Excellent as a
windbreak or shelter belt tree.
Care: Fertilise with any complete
fertiliser in Spring and Autumn. Water
regulary during dry weather. Mulching is
beneficial. Can be pruned and shaped as
desired.
